How to Connect to MSlive

To setup the very first thing you need is to make sure you have Version .62 of the game. If you don't, go here for the download.

does this work for the current update of maplestory?

i tried this but it says something like host doesn't exist code11001 or something like that so i am wondering if i put the host into the maplestory folder wrong or what please give me help thank you

Make sure you have Version 55 installed and then put the localhost file into your Maple Story folder. Make sure it is you're Maple Story folder.

I put the localhost in my Maplestory folder but when I click on Maplestory it's still the original one. Do I have to do something else to make it work?

Make sure you have the Version 55 game installed. You can not use the newer version of Maple Story.
Once you have that installed put the localhost file in the Maple Story folder and click on it.
This will launch the game.
It is best if Maple Story is stored in the root directory of you're drive.
Example: C:\NEXON\Maple Story
